Bond yields traded flat on Monday amid uncertainty over a potential deal between the US and Iran.

In the global market, U.S. Treasury yields fell on Friday after data showed that employers unexpectedly shed 23,000 jobs in July, prompting traders to cut odds of a Federal Reserve interest-rate hike in September. Furthermore, Oil prices pared earlier gains on Monday as uncertainty over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz kept supply concerns elevated, while fresh attacks claimed by Iran-backed Houthi militants against Saudi energy infrastructure added to concerns over regional flows.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading flat with its previous close of 6.76% on Friday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading flat with its previous close of 6.35% on Friday.
