Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has secured a work order worth around Rs 11.41 crore (including GST) from Paradip Port Authority (PPA). The order is for hiring of one 25-Knot Speed Patrol-Cum-Chase Boat (River Sea Vessel type IV/ MS Act), along with manning crew. The order is for a period of five years.
The company will construct the Speed cum Chase Boat in-house, tailored to the specific operational requirements of PPA, and ensure its deployment within the stipulated timeline. The execution will be further supported by the Group’s expanding shipbuilding capabilities through Knowledge Shipyard (KSPL), the company’s dedicated shipbuilding arm, along with the upcoming shipyard at Saphale, Maharashtra. This integrated capability will strengthen the company’s ability to design, build, deploy and support specialised marine vessels while enhancing greater control over quality, delivery timelines and lifecycle support.
Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works (Knowledge Marine) is engaged in the business of owning and operating of Marine Crafts for dredging along with repairs and maintenance/refits of Marine Crafts and Marine Infrastructure.
