Asian markets traded mostly higher in early deals on Wednesday, kindled by the rally in technological sector stocks and on robust earnings report from global artificial intelligence firms. Some gains remained trimmed on looming concerns regarding Middle East shipping and on spike in crude oil prices. South Korea’s KOSPI soared the most among Asian indices and registered its highest level in over two weeks.

Nikkei up by 504.78 points or 0.75% to 67,475.00, KOSPI Index soared by 212.06 points or 3.34% to 6,557.59, Taiwan weighted rose by 359.10 points or 0.80% to 45,479.82, Jakarta Composite surged by 62.48 points or 1.00% to 6,330.36, Shanghai Composite kindled by 5.58 points or 0.14% to 3,939.67, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI index higher by 4.75 points or 0.27% to 1,736.21.

On the flip side, Straits Times down by 32.87 points or 0.57% to 5,721.30, and Hang Seng dipped by 304.82 points or 1.19% to 25,348.00.
