Diamond Power Infrastructure shines on winning orders worth Rs 195.48 crore

Diamond Power Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 377.90, up by 15.20 points or 4.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 362.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 366.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 379.00 and Rs. 363.00 respectively. So far 42495 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 379.00 on 12-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 115.80 on 02-Feb-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 379.00 and Rs. 332.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22,636.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 84.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.99% and 13.98% respectively.

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received two purchase orders aggregating Rs 195.48 crore (basic value, excluding GST) placed by Rajesh Power Services, an EPC contractor executing turnkey underground cabling projects for Paschim Gujarat Vij Company (PGVCL), the power distribution utility serving the Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat. The cables will be supplied for the account of PGVCL.

The cables will be deployed to convert overhead distribution lines into underground cable networks, a critical resilience measure for Gujarat’s cyclone-prone coastal districts, under Disaster Management (SDMF) Scheme and System Improvement (SI) / Urban Underground Programme. 

Under SDMF Scheme, around 645 km of 11 kV, 3-core aluminium XLPE armoured cables (order value Rs 98.21 crore) for undergrounding of power distribution networks in coastal areas under the state disaster mitigation fund, aimed at protecting power supply against cyclones and extreme weather events. Under System Improvement / Urban Underground Programme, around 725 km of 11 kV, 3-core aluminium XLPE armoured cables (order value Rs 97.27 crore) for urban underground cabling works, improving reliability, safety and aesthetics of power supply in cities across the PGVCL area.

These Medium Voltage (MV) cables, in sizes ranging from 95 sq mm to 300 sq mm, will be manufactured at the company’s integrated facility at Vadodara, Gujarat, and the orders will be executed over the next 12 months, as per the delivery schedules finalised with PGVCL.

Diamond Power Infrastructure is engaged in manufacturing & selling of conductor, cables and transmission towers.
