The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14823.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 11897.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2925.91 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 766.23 crore with gross sales of Rs 1202.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 435.86 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 198.70 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 54.35 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 291.51 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 225.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 199.11 crore in hybrid segment.
