The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13413.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 12918.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 495.44 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1641.64 crore with gross sales of Rs 265.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1376.11 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 134.58 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 932.03 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 309.50 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 39.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 32.15 crore in hybrid segment.
