Asian markets traded mostly higher in early deals on Tuesday, buoyed by the short covering in technology and artificial intelligence-related stocks after previous sessional losses. Meanwhile, market braced for Nvidia’s upcoming earnings report for insights into AI demand. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s Friday speech at Jackson Hole will be heavily scrutinized for clues on interest rate policy. Japan’s Nikkei rose with the gains in export orientated business after local currency yen declines. The stock market of Indonesia and Malaysia are closed for a holiday.

Nikkei up by 251.91 points or 0.38% to 65,780.00, Straits Times rose by 16.20 points or 0.29% to 5,696.66, Taiwan weighted lifted by 108.34 points or 0.24% to 44,870.66, KOSPI Index added by 22.43 points or 0.33% to 6,719.39, and Shanghai Composite enlarged by 8.33 points or 0.21% to 3,890.34.

On the flip side, Hang Seng dipped by 37.33 points or 0.15% to 25,480.00.
