The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 31434.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 28576.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2857.96 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1053.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 1000.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 53.50 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 315.06 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 101.81 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 470.37 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 38.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 77.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 39.19 crore in hybrid segment.
