The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has completed inspection at Unit-VI, an API manufacturing facility of Apitoria Pharma, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma, situated at E-Bonangi Village, Parawada Mandal, Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh from August 24 to August 28, 2026. The inspection concluded with three observations, which are procedural in nature.
Aurobindo Pharma is engaged in manufacturing pharmaceutical products. It offers active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and generic formulations like astemizole, domeperidone and omeprazole; anti-infective, oral and sterile antibiotics, pain management and osteoporosis segments.
