JSW Steel reports 3% growth in consolidated crude steel production in August

JSW Steel has reported consolidated crude steel production of 24.65 lakh tonnes in the month of August 2026, registering a 3% year-on-year (YoY) increase from 23.82 lakh tonnes in August 2025. The company's Indian operations reported a 4% rise in crude steel production to 23.87 lakh tonnes in August 2026 from 22.95 lakh tonnes in August 2025. However, JSW Steel USA (Ohio) produced 0.78 lakh tonnes of crude steel in August 2026, a decline of 11% from 0.88 lakh tonnes in August 2025.

JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
