VA Tech Wabag has secured a ‘Medium’ order from the Reliance Industries (RIL), towards Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection & Commissioning of an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), at Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC), Jamnagar. The proposed ETP scheduled to be completed in 13 months will be designed comprising chemical and biological treatment using the state-of the art technologies, along with a sludge treatment incorporating low-temperature drying for efficient sludge management. The company has categorized this as a Medium contract, with value of between Rs 100 crore - Rs 250 crore.
Lupin has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Modafinil Tablets USP, 100 mg and 200 mg. The USFDA has approved the company’s Modafinil Tablets USP, 100 mg and 200 mg as bioequivalent to the reference listed drug (RLD), Provigil Tablets of Nuvo Pharmaceuticals (Ireland) DAC, and is indicated to improve wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or shift work disorder (SWD).
Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) subsidiary -- HyperVault has secured 264 acres of land to develop a large-scale AI data center campus of up to 1GW capacity in Hyderabad, Telangana. The Hyderabad AI data center campus will be purpose-built to serve the needs of frontier AI companies and hyperscalers, enabling high-density GPU deployments for AI training, inference and advanced computing workloads. The development of the data center campus will be executed in a phased manner, in line with customer demand and technology requirements.
Rail Vikas Nigam has received Letter of Award (LoA) from SJVN Thermal (a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN) for ‘construction of a permanent siding along with an aerial connection via track from the Plant Boundary to Chausa and Pawani Kamarpur at Buxar (Phase-III) in Bihar for the 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project (BTPP) of STPL (PCD-133/2026). The order is valued at around Rs 903 crore (including GST). The order is to be executed within 36 months.
JSW Steel has reported consolidated crude steel production of 24.65 lakh tonnes in the month of August 2026, registering a 3% year-on-year (YoY) increase from 23.82 lakh tonnes in August 2025. The company's Indian operations reported a 4% rise in crude steel production to 23.87 lakh tonnes in August 2026 from 22.95 lakh tonnes in August 2025. However, JSW Steel USA (Ohio) produced 0.78 lakh tonnes of crude steel in August 2026, a decline of 11% from 0.88 lakh tonnes in August 2025.

The order is for the supply, installation and commissioning of AI based comprehensive infrasecure project for 05 substations. The order is to be executed within 24 months.
