The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12480.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 12706.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 226.08 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1494.12 crore with gross sales of Rs 1763.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 269.28 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 420.76 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 280.58 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 409.46 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 25.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.26 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9.62 crore in hybrid segment.
