Mahanagar Telephone Nigam has informed that MTNL has received order dated 14.09.2026 from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for payment of financial disincentive amounting to Rs 11,00,000, for contravention of the provisions of regulation 9 and regulation 10 of the Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024 (06 of 2024) by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam for Access Service (Wireline) for the quarter ending September 2025 & Rs 5,70,000 for contravention of the provisions of regulation 13 of the Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024 (06 of 2024) by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam for Access Service (Wireline) for the month of September 2025 respectively.
