Asian markets traded mostly higher in early deals on Thursday, as falling global bond yields boosted investor confidence following the US Federal Reserve's recent interest rate hike. Market sentiment also got a lift from stabilizing energy markets as crude oil prices dropped from recent highs. Additionally, technology stocks gained momentum from a post-meeting rally in Nasdaq futures, buoying regional indices withstand the Fed's hawkish signals about future interest rates. Japan’s Nikkei advanced with the strong earnings in export business with the softer local currency yen. Additionally, strong corporate profits, record share buybacks, and robust semiconductor demand supported the index.

Nikkei up by 196.00 points or 0.31% to 64,119.00, Straits Times rose by 17.46 points or 0.31% to 5,652.87, Jakarta Composite higher by 29.86 points or 0.46% to 6,466.71, Taiwan weighted surged by 566.86 points or 1.24% to 46,415.76, KOSPI Index lifted by 61.41 points or 0.91% to 6,779.38, 

On the flip side, Hang Seng curtailed by 197.78 points or 0.81% to 24,516.00, Shanghai Composite decreased by 14.14 points or 0.36% to 3,877.46, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI index declined by 3.56 points or 0.21% to 1,675.65
