SoftTech Engineers has secured Rs 92.95 crore project from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to design, build and operate an AI/ML-enabled, cyber-aware Digital Twin and Digital Twin Command & Control Centre (DTCCC) for the port. Digital Twin will give JNPA a single, real-time operational view of its Seaside, Landside and Road-traffic operations across the entire around 34 sq km port, enabling a smart and intelligent decision support system for the Authority.
The Digital Twin is designed to deliver measurable improvements: faster vessel turnaround and just-in-time arrivals on the seaside; a shared data platform across all five terminal operators, customs and rail that cuts cargo and container turnaround times on the land side; and shorter gate queues, decongested approach roads and end-to-end vehicle tracking on the road network - advancing JNPA’s objectives of operational efficiency, sustainability, decarbonization, and safety and security. The platform is secure by design and built to scale as JNPA grows towards 10 million TEU capacity by 2027.
The company will deliver the program in partnership with Dassault Systemes, whose 3DEXPERIENCE City / Port platform provides the core virtual-twin environment. The company will lead solution design, AI/ML development, systems integration, the DTCCC build-out and long-term operations on the CIVIT platform by SoftTech.
