Indian equity benchmark -- Nifty ended higher on Friday amid ease in crude oil price after reports emerged of additional Saudi crude shipments through Oman, easing supply worries. Index made a positive start and continued its range bound trade with marginal gains for most part of the session as traders took some support with the Commerce Ministry stating that India and New Zealand are working closely to complete their respective domestic processes to facilitate the early implementation of the pact. In last leg of the session, Index extended its gains as investors remained optimistic after Moody’s Ratings sharply raised India’s GDP growth forecast for the FY27 to 7% from its earlier estimate of 6%, citing the country's resilience to global shocks arising from the conflict in the Middle East. Finally, Nifty ended near 23,350 mark.

Most of the sectorial indices ended in green led by Cement, Metal and Media stocks. The top gainers from the F&O segment were Supreme Industries, UNO Minda and Rail Vikas Nigam. On the other hand, the top losers were KPIT Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services and Tata Elxsi. In the index option segment, maximum OI continues to be seen in the 23900 - 24100 calls and 22900 - 23100 puts indicating this is the trading range expectation.
