22 Sep 2026 Evaluate
Gold futures finished lower on Monday, as strong dollar pressured demand for the precious metal. Furthermore, jitters over more Fed rate hikes and easing inflation concerns with the decline in oil rates also dulled investment appeal of the yellow metal.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $41 or 0.92% to settle at $4,383.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $1.73 or 0.04% to $ 4,345.16 an ounce.
