Straits Times up by 1.14 points or 0.02% to 5,724.90, Taiwan weighted added by 333.87 points or 0.70% to 48,134.04, Jakarta Composite down by 30.57 points or 0.49% to 6,307.61, and KOSPI Index lifted by 32.90 points or 0.47% to 7,050.81.

On the flip side, Hang Seng down by 201.75 points or 0.81% to 24,886.00, Shanghai Composite dipped by 14.05 points or 0.36% to 3,938.08, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI index declined by 0.26 points or 0.02% to 1,683.24.
