Vikran Engineering has secured a new order aggregating approximately Rs 153.76 crore exclusive of GST from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) for the 400 kV AIS Extension Substation Package SS136T. Awarded through Domestic Competitive Bidding, the project strengthens Vikran’s presence in high-voltage transmission infrastructure and adds a significant order to its growing order book. The project involves the extension of the 400/220 kV Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation and civil works for +/- 300 MVAR STATCOM at Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation. The project is associated with transmission system strengthening at Tumkur-II for integration of additional renewable energy potential of 2.7 GW through the tariff based competitive bidding route.
Lenskart Solutions’ wholly owned subsidiary -- NESO Brands, Singapore (NESO) has made a further investment of EUR 0.248 million (equivalent to approximately Rs 2.71 crore) and acquired an additional 2.52% stake through primary subscription in Le Petit Lunetier Paris SAS, France (LPL), which is a French eyewear brand and among the existing portfolio of eyewear brands sold by the company. LPL is an existing associate entity of NESO and an indirect associate of the Company. Accordingly, pursuant to the aforesaid acquisitions, the aggregate shareholding of NESO in LPL has increased from 29.05% to 34.34% of the fully diluted share capital of LPL, representing an aggregate increase of 5.30%.
Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired Barmer HVDC Power Transmission, the Project SPV to establish Inter-State Transmission system for the project namely ‘Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-5: 6 GW) [Barmer Complex] Barmer-II: 6 GW (Solar) (LCC Configuration)’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL).
Bharat Dynamics (BDL) has signed a contract with Ministry of Defence for the supply of Satellite Smart Anti Airfield Weapons (SAT-SAAW) along with associated equipment for Indian Air Force (IAF) with a total cost of Rs 810.79 crore under Buy (Indian - Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category.
GMR Airports’ subsidiary -- GMR Hospitality (GHL) has emerged as the Selected Bidder for designing, financing, developing, setting up, operating, managing and maintain the Food & Beverages Outlets at the Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi for an initial period of up to May 2036, which may further be extended by 10 additional years, by Delhi International Airport (DIAL), Indian Subsidiary of the Company and accordingly has entered into License Agreement.
Dhruv Consultancy Services has received the Letter of Award from the office of Executive Engineer Public Works Division Panvel , Government of Maharashtra, the Authority and the said work covers the appointment as consultant for preparation of Detailed Project Report cum Feasibility Study, Survey and Preparation of Land Plan including social environmental and CCA mitigation study for widening to two lane with paved shoulders to various road as per packages in Enclosure IV of TOR in the State of Maharashtra with financial aid of Multilateral Development Bank for the contract price of Rs 3.79 crore excluding GST. The Duration of the project is 365 days.
Vantage Knowledge Academy has entered into a Agreement with Swaminarayan University-Faculty of Skill and Vocational Studies, Gujarat. The collaboration aims to establish an academic and industrial linkage to promote skill and vocational education for students. Under the scope of this agreement, Vantage Knowledge Academy will act as the Industry Skilling Partner (ISP) and will be responsible for conducting skill gap analysis, developing course content, managing counseling and guidance centers, and delivering academic training through face-to-face and hybrid learning models. The agreement has been executed for a duration of three years.
