Gold futures finished sharply lower on Wednesday, marking third straight sessional loss. The safe haven demand cooled followed by easing US- Iran tensions and restored Saudi oil supplies lowing inflation fears. Furthermore, surge in dollar, rising bond yield notes and hawkish Fed stand also saddled yellow metal investments.
Gold futures for December delivery down by $58.00 or 1.32% to settle at $ 4,318.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $2.63 or 0.06% to $ 4,285.02 an ounce.
