Natural Gas futures traded bullish on MCX, on account of tighter-than-expected inventory positions, and on production declines. Moreover, expanding liquefied natural gas (LNG) export flows and strong domestic demand also triggered the up move.
The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 306.70 up 1.42% or Rs 4.30 from its previous closing of Rs 302.40.The open interest of the contract stood 28862 lots on MCX.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 292.60 up by 1.39% or Rs 4.00 from its previous closing of Rs 288.60.The open interest of the contract stood at 5357 lots
