Physical Rubber prices witness gains on Monday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed gains on Monday amid tight global supply conditions. Meanwhile, surging crude oil prices also increased the production costs of petroleum-based synthetic rubber and boosted up natural rubber demand.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 279/kg to its previous closing of Rs 278/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 273/kg to its previous closing of Rs 272/kg.
