FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 29 data: NSDL

29 Sep 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10186.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 15154.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4967.58 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1053.47 crore against gross sales of Rs 6037.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4983.53 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 2773.31 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1658.90 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 551.32 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 28.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.55 crore in hybrid segment.
