Physical Rubber prices witnessed some gains on Wednesday amid tight global supply conditions. Moreover, surging crude oil prices also increased the production costs of petroleum-based synthetic rubber and boosted up natural rubber demand.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 280/kg to its previous closing of Rs 279/kg; while the RSS-5 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 274/kg.
