Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 290.23 crore (incl. GST) from North Easter Railway for project of Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Traction Sub Stations with associated Switching Posts for 2x25 KV AT traction feeding system in Gorakhpur Cantt-Chhapra Gramin section of Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway for capacity up-gradation work of electric traction power supply installations on Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Mode (Project). The project completion period is of 24 months from date of commencement.
Bajel Projects has been awarded an EPC order for the supply and installation of 220kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations at Salsette and Powai in Mumbai. The order falls in the Rs 200 crore-Rs 300 crore ‘Major Orders’ category as per the company’s project classification policy (inclusive of GST). The scope covers the supply and installation of a 220kV GIS at the Salsette receiving station. The scope also covers the supply and installation of a 220kV Outdoor GIS substation at the Powai receiving station.
Blue Dart Express has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Post to further extend its delivery reach. Building on Blue Dart’s extensive national network, the collaboration will strengthen last-mile connectivity for businesses and customers across Tier III and Tier IV towns and remote locations. The expanded coverage will be introduced in a phased manner. The collaboration brings together Blue Dart’s express logistics capabilities and India Post’s extensive postal network to provide customers with access to a wider range of markets. Shipments to these additional locations will be delivered through India Post’s network, complementing Blue Dart’s infrastructure.
Paradeep Parivahan (PPL) has secured a road transportation contract from JSW Cement for the transportation of cement, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), and other specified bulk materials. The contract involves the transportation of thousands of tonnes of material per month from JSW Cement’s facility at Raigad, Maharashtra, to customer-designated destinations. This development marks a significant step in strengthening PPL’s bulk logistics portfolio, complementing the company’s proposed acquisition of 100 bulkers and expanding its transportation capabilities to cater to the growing logistics requirements of the cement industry.
RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Ministry of Railways Rail Bhavan for Development of Integrated Environment & Housekeeping Management (EnHM) Digital Platform of Indian Railway. The size of order as per work order is Rs 19.44 crore (Excluding Tax). The said order is expected to be completed by October 11, 2028.
UGRO Capital has raised $10 million through the allotment of up to 1000 senior, unsecured, rated, listed, united states dollar denominated redeemable non-convertible bonds of the face value of $10,000 each, through private placement. The Bonds are proposed to be listed on India International Exchange IFSC. The Investment and Borrowing Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company (Committee) on October 9, 2026 has approved allotment of the same.
Avantel has received a purchase order from Larsen & Toubro, for Comprehensive Annual Maintenance, for a total consideration of Rs 12.04 crore inclusive of applicable taxes. The said order is expected to be completed by October 2028.
