GHCL has commenced commercial production of a new product ‘Liquid Bromine (Br2)’ at the company's plant in Amreli, Gujarat. The product will cater to both domestic and international markets. The annual capacity of Bromine is 2800 MT. The product is classified under chemicals and commodity chemicals.

GHCL is engaged in primarily two segments consisting of Inorganic Chemicals (mainly manufacture and sale of Soda Ash) and Home Textile division (comprising of yarn manufacturing, weaving, processing and cutting and sewing of home textiles products).
