FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 12 data: NSDL

12 Oct 2026 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10906.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 14158.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3251.04 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1199.76 crore with gross sales of Rs 2064.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 864.31 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 397.71 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 276.08 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 190.52 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.75 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.16 crore in hybrid segment.
