Lords Mark Industries has completed the acquisition of Radio Electric, the company behind the established 'Radiotone’ brand, as part of its strategic expansion into specialised electrical manufacturing and engineering under its Lighting & Energy Division. The company has acquired Radio Electric for a consideration of Rs 4.50 crore.
The acquisition brings nearly nine decades of engineering expertise, specialised transformer technology, and high-current manufacturing capabilities into the company. It also provides a strategic edge in the growing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) segment and enables in-house component manufacturing to improve profitability and value across the medical device business. Further, the acquisition provides an operating manufacturing infrastructure currently at around 50% single-shift capacity, offering immediate headroom to scale production without heavy upfront capital expenditure.
Lords Mark Industries is engaged in consultancy in various fields including trading in capital market instruments; market research and follow-up across multiple industries; turnkey power projects consultancy; and undertaking energy and infrastructure projects.
