Bharti Airtel introduces mobile phone-based power bill payment service in Chhattisgarh

Bharti Airtel, through its wholly owned subsidiary Airtel M Commerce Services (AMSL), has introduced mobile phone-based power bill payment service in Chhattisgarh. This service will enable the electricity consumers in the state to make the payment through the mobile phones.

After Bihar, Chhattisgarh would be the first state where the company has launched the service to pay electricity bill through mobile phones. The Airtel had inked an agreement with the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company (CSPDCL) to start the service.
