Physical Rubber prices extend gains on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Tuesday due to a severe supply crunch and strong demand from domestic tyre manufacturers. Moreover, higher production costs of petroleum-based synthetic rubber also boosted natural rubber demand.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 285.50/kg to its previous closing of Rs 284.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 279.50/kg to its previous closing of Rs 278.50/kg.
