The partnership extends ONMO+ beyond e-commerce, following its launch on Flipkart. ONMO+ will be available across Poorvika Appliances & Mobile stores in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Puducherry, where consumers can try it first-hand before taking it home.
At Poorvika Appliances & Mobile stores, ONMO+ will sit alongside the Smart TVs, smartphones and laptops consumers already shop for. ONMO+ is a Smart Console that uses cloud technology to bring high-quality gaming to screens consumers already own, without the cost and complexity of a traditional gaming console or gaming PC.
The move into Poorvika Appliances & Mobile stores also gives ONMO+ an important physical discovery and demonstration channel. It opens ONMO+ to consumers who would not typically buy a gaming console. The ONMO+ Smart Console will be available at Poorvika Appliances & Mobile stores and through poorvika.com soon. The partnership forms part of OnMobile's broader strategy to scale ONMO+ across ecommerce, physical retail and telecom operator channels, creating multiple ways for consumers to discover and access the platform.
