Asian markets traded mostly lower in early deals on Monday, saddled by hefty sell-offs in technological sector stocks following negative cues in Wall Street's semiconductor index and growing global anxieties over high AI spending costs. Additionally, regional sentiment remained dull due to a stark warning from MSCI regarding a potential downgrade of Indonesia's market status, triggering localized capital flight risks. Stock market of Hong Kong is closed for Chung Yeung Day.
