Sigma Advanced Systems has secured an order valued at $19.70 million (around Rs 174 crore) from a North American customer serving the NATO defence ecosystem for the manufacture and supply of specialised ancillary subsystems for 155 mm artillery ammunition. The order is scheduled to be executed by Q2 2027, with manufacturing to be undertaken within the Sigma ecosystem.
The order marks Sigma’s fifth 155 mm engagement since May 2026, reflecting the steady expansion of its capabilities across the artillery ammunition value chain. With shell bodies, filled fuzes, advanced base-bleed shell technology, course-correction fuze collaboration and now ancillary subsystems within its portfolio, Sigma is progressing beyond individual ammunition component supply towards a broader manufacturing and engineering partnership across multiple elements of the artillery round.
