The FIIs as per Monday data were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1393.40 crore against gross sell of Rs 2149.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 755.90 crore in equities on November 28, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2198.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 1076.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1122.50 crore in debt on November 28, 2011.
