Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Wednesday due to persistent weather-driven supply anxieties in Southeast Asia. Moreover, the rising production costs of petroleum-based synthetic rubber boosted the demand for natural rubber.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 296/kg to its previous closing of Rs 295/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 290/kg to its previous closing of Rs 289/kg.
