30 Oct 2026 Evaluate

Tonbo Imaging India has been awarded a strategic export order from a state-owned company in Europe for the supply of its EO/IR stabilised seeker. The order is for First of Production Model (FOPM) units, valued at around 65,000 euro. On successful acceptance of the FOPM units, the customer has the option to place an order, for a total potential value of around 13 million euro. The order marks the seeker’s entry into an export loitering munition programme and positions it for series supply following qualification.

The seeker combines day and thermal imaging with stabilisation and onboard target tracking in a compact package. It is designed for loitering munitions, precision-guided munitions and interceptor drones where size, weight, power and cost are critical. Supply under the contract is subject to the customer providing an End User Certificate and to the company obtaining export authorisation from the Government of India.

Tonbo Imaging India is a global defence electronics original equipment manufacturer (OEM). It designs, develops and manufactures sensing, processing, communication and guidance systems for surveillance, reconnaissance, targeting, and control.
