NBCC (India) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with various departments of the Government of Bihar to undertake four redevelopment projects in Patna under Phase-I. The proposed projects include residential redevelopment of BSHB colonies at Sector 5 (TV Tower) and Sector 6 (Bahadurpur) in Patna. Together, these two projects will provide 3,331 residential flats for EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG categories, with shopping complexes, clubhouses, gyms, community facilities, office spaces and other supporting facilities.
The other projects comprise Modern IT Tech Park for DIT Bihar at Gardanibagh, Patna (the first Tech Park of the State) and Hotels / commercial spaces at Water Resources Department site, Bailey Road, Patna.
The expected sale/lease proceeds from the proposed projects would be around Rs 5,152 crore. Further, the tentative project cost would be around Rs 2,000 crore, exclusive of GST. The PMC charges are 6% and the marketing fee is 1.25%.
