LG Electronics India has secured approval to enter into a new line of business -- Vehicle Solutions Business, encompassing manufacturing, assembling, importing, exporting, distributing, trading, selling, supplying, installing, integrating, servicing, maintaining and providing solutions relating to automotive and mobility technologies, products, components, systems and software. The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on November 5, 2026, has approved the same.
The proposed entry into the Vehicle Solutions business is expected to provide expansion of the company’s business portfolio beyond its existing product offerings and entry into the growing automotive electronics and mobility solutions sector. It also expected to offer emerging opportunities arising from increasing demand for connected vehicles, digital cockpits, advanced infotainment systems and intelligent mobility solutions. The foray is expected to create potential revenue streams and long-term growth prospects for the company.
LG Electronics India is engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of Television (Flat panel, Signage, Projectors, Monitor TV etc.), Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Microwave Ovens, Washing Machines, Dishwasher, Vacuum Cleaners, Ceiling Fan, Monitor, Audio Visual, Water Purifiers, Air Purifiers, Compressors, Personal Computer and Security Camera.
