Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana S.A. SVB has reportedly bought 5.1 lakh shares or 0.61% stake of Ashapura Minechem through the open market route. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 60.91 valuing the transaction to Rs 3.10 crore.
The Ashapura group is one of the largest exporters of traded bauxite in the world and is amongst the world’s top five Benonite companies. Ashapura also dominates the value added segments in the country for Bleaching Clay, Geosynthetic Clay Liners, Clay Catalysts and Calcined Bauxite.
