Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has denied any interference in the Tarun Tejpal sexual assault case, saying he only wants justice to be delivered in the matter. Parrikar said that there is no interference or detailing in criminal investigation in the case. There will be equal and proper treatment to both the sides.
Parrikar and the BJP have been accused by Tejpal of manipulating police investigation against the editor, who is accused of sexually assaulting a junior colleague twice in a Goa resort. On the trial to be held in a fast-track court, Parrikar said that he wants the case to be fast-tracked as per the Supreme Court guidelines. Anyway justice delayed is justice denied and they want that the victim gets justice fast.
