Physical rubber showed some uptrend on Monday on comparatively better demand and low supplies. However, weak closing in domestic futures limited further gains in rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 151/kg, while RSS-5 variety improved to 142/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 141/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of December delivery declined to Rs 151.80 compared to its previous close of Rs 153.61, while January delivery closed at Rs 153.68 compared to its previous closing of Rs 155.79 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
