Congress supporters disrupting parliament: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party said that a 'friendly match' between the ruling Congress and its supporting parties was disrupting parliament and not allowing the Lokpal Bill to be passed. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that The whole nation is watching. It is a friendly match between the Congress and its supporting parties, which is not allowing the house to function and added that Congress should manage its supporting parties,

The Lokpal Bill was tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Friday but the house had to be adjourned soon after. Members of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) shouted 'Save Andhra Pradesh' slogans.

Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav said his party was opposed to the bill in its present form and added that price rise was an important issue, which the SP members wanted to raise.
