Arvinder Singh Lovely warns Aam Aadmi Party

20 Dec 2013 Evaluate

Asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) should place a check on their use of abusive language and not test the Congress Party's patience,' Delhi unit president Arvinder Singh Lovely accused that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party of running away from its responsibility of forming a government in the national capital. He further alleged that AAP had got the numbers because of promises made in its manifesto and for talking badly about the Congress and added that the Congress has offered outside support to the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, as the grand old party wants Delhiites to get the benefits proposed in the AAP's manifesto.

Arvind Kejriwal said that being a people's party, they would carry out a referendum among the people of the city, and decide what to do next. They are making and circulating 25 lakh copies of a letter across the city to seek the people's feedback. People can phone in, send a text message, or leave a message on the AAP Facebook page. The Congress had offered unconditional support, while the BJP would offer issue-based support. They had asked the Congress and the BJP about their opinions on 18 key issues, however BJP did not respond to the letter.

Criticizing both parties, Kejriwal expressed 'These leaders, in their arrogance, used to challenge us to fight elections. I will repeat, don't challenge the common man. He is the one who makes the roti, kapda, makan. It's not the netas who make all this.'
