Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 1,83,984.78 crore on December 24 and the total numbers of contracts traded on the day were 59,40,736.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,045.38 crore, Stock Futures Rs 34,610.77 crore and Index Options Rs 1,27,669.24 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 8,659.39 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.98, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.02 and that of Stock Options was 0.53.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Mcleodruss 2.15, Auro Pharma 2.00, Dr reddy 1.68, Infosys 1.55, and Wipro 1.46.
Among most active underlying, SBI witnessed contraction of 0 78 million in Open Interest in the December month futures contract followed by Reliance Industries witnessed contraction of 1.72 million of Open Interest in the December month contract; United Spirits witnessed contraction of 1.18 million of Open Interest in the December month futures. ICICI Bank witnessed contraction of 2.29 million of Open Interest in the December month contract and TCS witnessed contraction of 0.67 million in Open Interest in the near month futures contract.
