Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country has reportedly launched ‘i-Plan’ for its postpaid customers, which allows them to choose, create and customise their monthly plan from a bunch of voice and data packs. With this plan, the company’s postpaid customers can select from a range of rental plans, starting from Rs 199 to Rs 999, depending on their usage and requirements. This new plan is available for all new and existing postpaid customers.
Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles. The company has added 36,219 new mobile subscribers in November, 2013. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 12.84 crore with a market share of 18.66%.
