Tata Steel, one of the world’s biggest steelmakers, is reportedly planning to hike the prices of its long product further. In the third quarter (October-December quarter of 2013-14), the company had hiked prices by Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 a tonne in certain product categories.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
