Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPCI) has organized an exporters meet at Kollam in state of Kerala in order to resolve various banking related issues faced by cashew exporters. As many as 40 exporters from Kerala and Tamil Nadu state attended the meeting.
The said exporters meet was organized in association with the Indian Bank and the Cashew Committee of Bankers. CEPCI called upon the banking industry to sort out the issues faced by the cashew sector.
Besides it was also made clear that commercial banks should guide exporters in the procedural matters apart from rendering good customer service and providing adequate credit to increase export opportunities.
