KRBL spurts on reporting three fold rise in Q3FY14 consolidated net profit

KRBL is currently trading at Rs. 41.40, up by 0.45 points or 1.10 % from its previous closing of Rs. 40.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 42.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 43.10 and Rs. 40.60 respectively. So far 324729 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Re 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 42.40 on 16-Jan-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs 19.40 on 31-Jul-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 42.40 and Rs. 37.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 973.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.43% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.29% and 39.28% respectively.

KRBL has reported close to three fold rise in its net profit at Rs 53.97 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 20.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 29.58% at Rs 648.25 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 500.26 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted growth of over three-fold in its net profit at Rs 71.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 20.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 40.85% at Rs 703.60 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 499.52 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
