Idea Cellular reports over two fold jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

Idea Cellular has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The company has reported over two fold jump in its net profit at Rs 393.23 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 182.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company increased by 19.32% at Rs 6523.64 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5467.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.

On the consolidated basis too, the group has reported over two fold jump in its net profit after taxes at Rs 467.73 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 228.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company increased by 18.54% at Rs 6613.06 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5578.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
