Transport Corporation reports 27% surge in Q3 net profit

Transport Corporation of India (TCI) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The company has reported 26.90% rise in its net profit at Rs 14.39 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 11.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company has increased by 4.66% at Rs 514.98 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 492.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.

TCI is the flagship company of TCI Group and provides full truck load and less than full truck load transportation to a network of over 3000 destinations in India.
